I work with clients facing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, trauma, birth trauma, identity struggles, etc. My integrative approach allows me to adapt to diverse presentations and support your unique situation.
I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, where your insights and experiences guide our work together. This ensures that every session is meaningful and aligned with your personal journey.
With Specialist training in Perinatal Mental Health and Birth Trauma, and my own lived experience of motherhood, I have a strong understanding of how pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood can affect our emotional wellbeing—especially when things don’t go as expected.
This background helps me offer therapy that’s sensitive, supportive, and tailored to the unique challenges of the perinatal period. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, struggling after a miscarriage or a loss, infertility, a difficult birth, or simply needing space to process your experience, I bring both knowledge and compassion to help you feel heard, understood, and supported.
Anxiety can feel overwhelming - racing thoughts, physical tension, or constant worry that's hard to switch off. In therapy, we work together to understand your anxiety as a messenger that is trying to give you some information that deserves to be heard. The goal is not to get rid of it, but to gently reduce its impact on your daily life. Some approaches we may take are techniques from CBT, Mindfulness, and grounding strategies.
Depression can make everyday life feel heavy - leaving you drained, disconnected, or stuck in a cycle of low mood and self-criticism. Therapy offers a safe, supportive space to explore these feelings and to find new ways of relating to yourself and your experiences, giving you practical ways to lift the weight you are carrying.
A traumatic experience can leave you with lasting feelings of fear, overwhelm, or disconnection. You may also experience symptoms like flashbacks, nightmares, panic attacks, depression, anxiety, and PTSD, amongst others. In therapy, you'll have a safe space to process and integrate what has happened at your own pace. Together, we'll work on easing distress, rebuilding a sense of safety, and helping you feel more grounded and empowered in your life.
Grief can feel overwhelming, whether it follows the loss of a loved one, a pregnancy, or a life change. There is no one right way of grieving, it is unique to each person. Therapy offers a space to share your pain, make sense of your feelings, and find ways to carry your loss and make space for it.
